The therapeutic sandal in detail.

Heel counter, insole and outsole: three details for support, fit and comfort.

  1. The moulded counter keeps the heel upright and stops it tipping inwards. In therapeutic shoes with extended wings above the ankle.

  2. Removable, with heel cup, arch pads and cushion. Replaceable with custom orthotics from the medical supply store.

  3. Springy, slip-resistant sole with rocker. The heel extended on the inside prevents inward rotation and distributes the load.
