Hosting, access logs and IP addresses
Netlify, Inc., USA, delivers this website. Page requests involve processing IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs, browser and operating system information and, where applicable, the referring page. This supports delivery, availability, troubleshooting and abuse prevention. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in secure, reliable operation. Technical access logs are distinct from advertising tracking.
Netlify provides hosting and form processing. Processing outside the EU, including in the US, is possible. Netlify describes its processing terms and contractual safeguards, including standard contractual clauses, in its Data Processing Agreement. You may request information about the safeguards applicable to your data. Netlify’s current Data Processing Agreement identifies the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for covered US transfers (Article 45 GDPR), with standard contractual clauses as a supplementary or fallback mechanism (Article 46 GDPR). The scope and current validity of each mechanism matter. Delivery uses international infrastructure; exclusive storage and processing in Germany are not promised. Netlify publishes current subprocessor information in its Trust Center.
When you open the general start address, Netlify may use a country indication derived from the connection to route you to German or English. A local fallback checks a saved language choice and otherwise the browser time zone. This supports language presentation, not movement profiling; no precise location permission is requested. Article 6(1)(f) GDPR applies where personal data is processed.
Contact, partner and price-list enquiries
Forms collect company, business type, country, name, email and confirmation that you have read this notice. Depending on the form, you may also provide phone number, store count, message and a price-list request. Required fields have an asterisk. Without these details the form cannot be submitted; you may contact us by email or phone instead.
We use the information to answer your enquiry and explore a business relationship. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies where the enquiry concerns a contract with you; Article 6(1)(f) applies to contacts acting for a business and other enquiries. Our legitimate interest is answering business enquiries. Acknowledging this notice is not consent to advertising.
Netlify Forms transmits and stores submissions. Technical spam checks and a hidden field help detect automated entries; we do not use an external CAPTCHA. Staff handling enquiries and hosting/communication providers process the data. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Please do not submit health or patient data.
Retention
We retain enquiries for handling the request, any resulting business relationship and applicable statutory retention duties. They are then deleted unless another legal basis supports retention. Technical logs are retained for operational and security purposes; specific security incidents may require longer retention for investigation. Contact us for information about a particular record.
Choices and withdrawal
You may reject optional services, allow available services or save a selection. Categories cover necessary functions, external maps, analytics and advertising. Inactive services cannot be selected. You do not grant blanket consent to future tools.
The same control is always available in the footer. Changes apply to subsequent use in this browser. Withdrawing map consent removes embedded maps. It cannot reverse earlier transfers and does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Google Maps
Google Maps is blocked until you enable external maps. Only then may Google receive IP addresses, browser information and map interactions. Google may use cookies or similar technologies and associate data with a signed-in Google account. The EEA provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Processing by Google LLC in the US is possible.
The purpose is interactive location and route display. The legal basis is consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG for device access. See Google’s privacy policy for retention, transfers and settings. The separate directions link opens Google Maps only when you click it.
Analytics, advertising and future services
On orthoboom.com we use Google Analytics 4 only after you consent to the Analytics category. Without consent the Google tag does not load. Withdraw consent for the future through Cookie settings in the footer.
Google Analytics 4
The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We evaluate page views and interactions such as catalogue clicks and server-accepted enquiries. Data includes page paths, timestamps, browser and device information, cookie identifiers and interactions. Your IP address is transmitted to establish the connection. Form contents are not attached to our analytics events and no User-ID is set. Our tag configuration disables Google Signals and advertising personalisation.
The legal bases are consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. We configure _ga and _ga_* cookies for a maximum of 180 days without automatic renewal. Separate user and event data retention depends on the Analytics property; standard properties offer 2 or 14 months. Contact us for the specific applicable setting. Aggregated reports may remain available longer.
Google may process data through Google LLC in the USA. Google identifies the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and supplementary contractual safeguards for covered transfers. Further information: Google Privacy Policy, transfer safeguards and data processing terms.
Other planned services remain inactive
Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag and Microsoft Clarity are not connected. Future activation requires updated information and the applicable consent.
Google Tag Manager
Intended to manage approved tags. A tag manager does not replace consent or automatically authorise other services. No container currently loads. Both the future container and its individual tags must respect the required consent.
Google Ads
A possible future tool for advertising conversion measurement. Conversion goals, recipients, retention and marketing consent must be established before activation. Remarketing, enhanced conversions and customer-data transfers are not configured.
Meta Pixel
A possible future tool for measuring advertising interactions and consented conversions. Neither the pixel nor a Conversions API is connected. Automatic matching and transfers of contact or health data through them do not occur.
LinkedIn Insight Tag
A possible future tool for B2B campaign and conversion measurement. The tag is not connected. Use requires prior marketing consent and disclosures of LinkedIn as recipient, purposes, retention and possible international transfers.
Other tools and conversion measurement
Microsoft Clarity, Matomo, chat widgets and other advertising or tracking services are also inactive. Future selections require a service-specific review. Prepared events distinguish clicks, submission attempts and server-accepted enquiries. Without an active service and the required consent, they create no analytics or advertising reports. Form contents are not attached to these events.
Images, fonts, video and external links
Fonts, product images, designed scenes and local animation media are delivered with the website. No external font, YouTube or Vimeo service loads for them. The globe is rendered locally. PDF catalogues use the website host. External links, such as image credits and directions, open the respective providers only after a click; their privacy terms apply there.
Your rights
Subject to legal requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Consent can be withdrawn for future processing. Contact support@orthoboom.com.
You may complain to a supervisory authority, including the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin. This website does not make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
How to exercise your rights
Send an informal request to support@orthoboom.com, describing the matter so we can identify the relevant record. Where there are reasonable doubts about your identity, we may request the additional information necessary to verify it. We generally respond within one month; where a lawful extension applies, we explain the reasons.
Objection to direct marketing
Where personal data is used for direct marketing, you may object at any time, including to related profiling. Following such an objection, the data must no longer be processed for those purposes.
Changes
When services change, we update this notice and obtain any required consent before activation.
